On March 23, 2016, North Carolina lawmakers convened a ‘special session’ to pass HB2, the most vicious anti-LGBTQ and anti-worker law passed in this country in recent years. HB2 endangers and demonizes transgender people, gender nonconforming people, and anyone who transgresses gender stereotypes in public, bans local governments from passing local anti-discrimination ordinances, and prevents NC cities from raising the minimum wage above the statewide minimum wage. Help us fight the law itself, the climate of violence it escalates, and the hate that it promotes.
