Maybelline Pérez Villatoro immigrated with her family from El Salvador in 2010 when she was 12 years old. She has lived in East Boston ever since. Maybelline is a core leader of The Student Immigrant Movement (SIM). SIM is an MA-based statewide immigrant youth-led organization dedicated to the liberation of the undocumented community. Maybelline attends Northeastern University, where she studies International Affairs and Cultural Anthropology. Maybelline is a 2018-19 Young People For (YP4) fellow.
