In the book, WHEN WE FIGHT, WE WIN!: Twenty-First-Century Social Movements and the Activists That Are Transforming Our World, longtime social activist Greg Jobin-Leeds in collaboration with AgitArte—an organization of working class artists and organizers—capture the stories, philosophies, tactics, and art of today’s leading social change movements. With over 30,000 copies of WHEN WE FIGHT, WE WIN! in print – we are excited to continue growing this dynamic community with you.
We are cultural organizers and artists working from the frontlines with AgitArte, a project for the working class, in all shapes, forms and intersectionalities. Our work is in response to the mainstream narrative, our work is a counter hegemony to mass media. In our podcast, WHEN WE FIGHT, WE WIN!, we build on the stories from our book published in 2016. And we follow-up on and continue the deep relationships, the human connections that we built with our tribe, our family of collaborators who continue to organize towards our liberation. In this podcast we create a virtual library in which we lift up the stories of social movements and the people constructing social, political, environmental and economic change.
